Similar to our last blog entry, we’ve put together a short video showing the most suitable locking devices for an ABB Tmax T1-T2-T3 circuit breaker. As with the Schneider Electric NSX unit, ABB offer their own make of locking device. In fact there are two versions available from ABB. One is a removable device, the other is permanently fixed to the front cover of the breaker.
In addition to the two devices from ABB (51393 and 51394), Brady and Master Lock both offer locking devices which fit well on this breaker. From Brady is the 65397 and from Master Lock the 491B. All do the job very well and are all priced very similarly.
